Bp. Lou Johnson giving first episcopal blessing
On Sunday, July 4, 2010, during the principal Sunday mass at All Saints Cathedral in Dinwiddie, Virginia, USA, The Rt. Rev. Lou Johnson, a priest in the Diocese of Virginia, was consecrated to the Holy Order of Bishop of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
Bishop Johnson, Ordinary of the Ordinariate for Military and Civil Chaplaincy of the United Free Catholic Church, was accompanied at the altar by his lovely wife Jane during the consecration.
Abp. Jack Stafford, Presiding Bishop of the United Free Catholic Church and Bp. Mark Leavell, ordinary of the Diocese of Virginia, consecrated Bp. Lou by the laying on of hands in succession of the Apostles, in accordance with the Certificate of Episcopal Election, issued by the General Synod of The United Free Catholic Church, which was read and presented to the people assembled. The Rt. Rev. Adrian Glover, Bishop of the Diocese of Europe, was unable to attend the consecration, but affirmed and consented to the consecration of Fr. Lou as a member of the General Synod.

The General Synod of Bishops of the United Free Catholic Church have erected the ordinariate for Military & Civil Chaplaincy and elected the Reverend Father Lou Johnson of Palm Springs, Florida, USA as Bishop Ordinary.
Fr. Johnson, a priest in the Diocese of Virginia, was elected by unanimous vote of the Bishops of the UFCC in plenary session on June 9, 2010.
The consecration of Fr. Johnson is scheduled for Sunday, July 4 at All Saints Chapel in Dinwiddie, Virginia, Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Virginia, during the principle Sunday Mass.

ARCHBISHOP +DANIEL ESTABLISHES NEW CHAPTERS OF COMPANIONS OF JESUS IN MEXICO
Archbishop +Daniel, Superior of the Society of Companions of Jesus in all Mexico, has announced the reception of two new chapters into the Society.
Holy Trinity Chapter in Xalapa, Veracruz and Our Lady of the Incarnation in Ecatepec, Estado de Mexico, were received by Archbishop +Daniel on February 23, 2010.
Archbishop +Daniel commented that the Province of the Precious Blood is pleased to "continue the work of rebuilding the Church that has been so battered in recent times".
Please give thanks to Almighty God for Archbishop +Daniel's work and the new chapters of Companions in Mexico.

The Missionary Fathers of Saint Joseph, a religious order of priests and brothers based in the Phillipines, have become part of the United Free Catholic Church.
Bishop Egay C. Dy, MFSJ, and Archbishop Jack Stafford of the UFCC are thankful to God to announce the unity of the Order with the United Free Catholic Church.

ORTHODOX-FREE CATHOLIC UNION
Archbishop +Daniel (de Jesus Ruiz Flores), Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Mexico and Archbishop +Jack Stafford, Presiding Bishop of the United Free Catholic Church, after a period of much prayer and discussion, have united the two faith communities in full communion with each other.
The Concordat (click here to view the actual document) was signed and sealed by the two Archbishops, effective February 21, 2010.
May God bless this union of communities and encourage others to heal the divisions that exist in the Body of Christ.

The Archdiocese of the Holy Spirit, a member community of the United Free Catholic Church, has recently received two new communities into fellowship.
St. Martin Parish in Montgomery, Alabama and Grace Mission in Crossville, Tennessee were welcomed into the Archdiocese.
